Set up your booking assistant

The more you fill in, the better your assistant can answer customer questions and take bookings.

Let's get you taking bookings

Four short steps. Sally does the heavy lifting; you confirm what she finds.
0%
You're 0% readyA few steps to go
Set up with AI

Paste your Google Maps or website link. Sally reads it and drafts your services, hours, address and team, in about twenty seconds.

Nothing goes live until you say so. You review everything first.
Start from scratch

Prefer to type it in yourself? Add your services and hours by hand in the form below.

Get your assistant ready to go live
Fill the essentials below — or let Sally set it all up from your Google listing in seconds.
Business details
The name, phone and email customers see.
Business name
The name customers see first — in chat, emails and on your booking page.
Business phone
Optional — a number customers can reach you on.
Shown to customers in confirmation emails so they can reach you (e.g. "give us a call on …"). Leave blank to hide it.
Business type
Tailors Sally's language and setup prompts to your trade.
Booking notification email
Where Sally sends a heads-up when a booking comes in.
Logo
Shown in the chat header and on your booking page.
Square image, any common format under 2 MB. Leave blank to use your business initial.
How Sally works
How Sally behaves when she's helping a customer book.
Sally's tone
How Sally comes across to customers in chat. Friendly is her built-in voice.
Reply length
How much Sally says per reply. Shorter answers tend to turn into more bookings.
Smart suggestion chips
Tappable next-step suggestions that update after each reply.
Off = show only your fixed quick replies below.
Suggest add-ons
One soft "often booked with" offer per booking.
Never pushy, never on a reschedule. Set your add-ons per service under Services & team. Off = no upsells.
Ask before booking a vague request
Sally asks a question or two when the request isn't clear.
A clearly-named request still books straight away.
Confirmations
What happens the moment Sally takes a booking.
Accept bookings automatically Recommended
Confirm every booking the instant it's made, or approve each one yourself first.
How it works

On: the customer instantly gets a "You're booked!" email. No action needed — bookings still appear in your Bookings list to manage.

Off: the customer first gets a "request received — we'll confirm shortly" email. They're not told they're booked until you open Bookings and tap Accept — that's what sends their "You're booked!" email. Good for checking availability or deposits first; remember to accept so customers aren't left waiting.

Ask customers to reconfirm the day before
Booking and reminder emails get a "Confirm I'll be there" button. Separate from accepting bookings above.
How it works

This produces the "Unconfirmed by customer — may not show" flags in Sally's follow-ups. A booking can be accepted by you and still be waiting on the customer's tap.

Services & pricing
Services & pricing
Add your services so Sally can answer “what do you offer?” and “how much is X?” Leave price or duration blank if you’d rather not share them.
No services yet — add your first so Sally can tell customers what you offer.
Your team
Your team
Who customers can book with. Sally keeps each person’s diary separate so nobody is double-booked. Leave empty if it’s just you.
It’s just you for now — add a person when you grow your team.

Team logins (who can sign in to this dashboard) are separate — under Account › User management.

Location & parking
Break it into the bits customers ask for. These show as a tidy "Find us" block on your booking page, and Sally can answer "where do I park?" precisely.
Address
Shows as a "Find us" block on your booking page, and lets Sally give directions.
Getting here
Landmarks, entrance, floor — optional.
0/300
Parking
Where customers can leave the car — optional.
0/200
Social links
Add your website and social links. Sally shares these only when a customer asks where to find you or to see your work.
Website
Sally links here when a customer asks where to find you.
A bare address is fine — we add the https:// for you.
Instagram
Shared when a customer wants to see your work.
Facebook
Your page, shared on request.
TikTok
Shared when a customer wants to see your work.
Chat colours
Light or dark for Sally's chat window on your website.
Colour scheme
Light, dark, or match each visitor's device.
"Auto" follows each visitor's light or dark device setting. Your brand colour is set just below, and on your booking page.
Cancellations & fees
Fill these in so Sally answers cancellation, deposit and payment questions precisely. Leave any blank to skip it.
Cancellation window
How much notice a customer needs to give to cancel without a fee.
Deposits are refunded in full when a customer cancels with at least this much notice.
Late cancellation fee
What you charge when a customer cancels inside the window.
No-show fee
What you charge when a customer doesn't turn up.
Payment methods
How customers can pay you.
Deposit policy
Optional. When and how much you take up front.
Walk-ins
Whether customers can turn up without booking.
Other policy notes
Optional. Anything else a customer might ask before booking.
Notes for Sally
Anything else Sally should know — FAQ answers, special offers, or details that don't fit above.
Notes for Sally
Anything else she should know — FAQ answers, special offers, or details that don't fit above.
Reviews
Automatically email customers the day after their visit asking for a Google review. Paste your "leave a review" link below. To find it: open your Google Business Profile, click Ask for reviews, and copy the short link it gives you.
Review requests
Email each customer the day after their visit and nudge them to leave a Google review.
How it works

You can also send a request anytime — open Bookings and tap Ask for review on any booking.

Your "leave a review" link
The short link customers tap to rate you.
It's in your Google Business Profile under "Ask for reviews" and looks like g.page/r/…/review.
Your Google Maps listing
Optional. Shows your Google star rating and review count on your booking page.
Open your business on Google Maps, tap Share, and paste the link — we'll pull out the ID. No ID in the link? Use the Place ID Finder.
When to send
The day after each visit, NZ time.
Fill quiet gaps
The automatic moves that fill quiet gaps in the book, and whether each is on right now. You switch them on or off with the rest of Sally's sending rules in Follow-ups — the link on each takes you straight there. Sally only ever drafts; you review before anything is sent.
Your notifications
What lands in your inbox and on your phone. Customers' reminders are on the Reminders pane.

Got a team?
A team member's personal calendar events won't automatically block their bookings yet — that only happens on solo setups. To hold time for one person (a lunch break, an appointment), use Block time. Per-person calendar sync is coming soon.

Put Sally on your website

One line of code and she greets every visitor, answers questions and takes bookings around the clock.

1

Copy the code

It's already linked to your business — nothing to fill in. Copy it, or email it to whoever runs your site.

It goes at the very bottom of your page (your site builder will call this the footer, or "before </body>"). It loads after your page, so it never slows your site down.
2

Paste it into your site builder

Pick yours and follow along. About two minutes, no code to write.

  1. Go to Settings, then Advanced, then Code Injection (that's just where Squarespace keeps pasted code).
  2. Paste the code into the Footer box.
  3. Click Save. Done, no publish step needed.
That screen needs a Squarespace Business plan or higher. On a Personal plan? Use your booking page instead, on the right.
  1. Open your site editor and go to Settings, then Custom Code (under Advanced).
  2. Click + Add Custom Code and paste the code.
  3. Choose All pages and set placement to Body, end.
  4. Click Apply, then publish your site.
  1. Add a free plugin called WPCode (it lets you paste code without touching your theme).
  2. Open it and find the Footer box.
  3. Paste the code and Save.
Rather not add a plugin? Under Appearance, then Editor, add a "Custom HTML" block to your footer and paste it there.
  1. In admin, go to Online Store, then Themes and choose Edit code.
  2. Open the file called theme.liquid and scroll to the very bottom.
  3. Paste the code on the line above </body> and Save. (Easier: email the code to your web person below.)
  1. Any site works if you can add custom HTML. Paste the code at the bottom of every page (just before </body>).
  2. On GoDaddy or Weebly? Add an HTML element and paste it in.
  3. Using a web person? Email them the code — it is a 30-second job for them.
3
